Just let’s say a little more “friendly”, it’s really awesome seeing pick up that series again, the story is just so full of potential, I miss the violence a little bit, but still really happy to see the return of the series with raid and the game
About the original comic, do you mean the one with the art by Nikraria? If so, you are right, the game is a direct follow-up (although it is deliberately not made clear), and the current comic comes after.
I am glad that you liked the original comic. Looking back at it, I am not totally a fan of how I wrote it, and some of the plot is no longer entirely accurate to the story at large. But I have something planned in the game that should be a good course correction from the original comic, without retconning it entirely. A retelling of some of its part, of sorts.
Yes this one exactly, I’m a big fan, I loved how you were able the establish all the rules of that universe and also 3 main characters, in such a short story.
I’m not surprised in you not being much fan of your earlier work, every artist/writer isn’t, as they say, ” art is never finished, only abandoned”
